HCWC + HF Joint Fall Retreat 2023!

This weekend, the @harvardcollegewomenscenter and the @harvardfoundation went on a joint fall retreat to the @harvard.forest where students engaged in critical discussions about community-building, inclusion, and belonging through their work as student leaders striving towards equity in intercultural and race relations and gender.

The retreat spanned conversations on the Intercultural Development Continuum; Ways to Practice Social Justice through Friendship; Storytelling and Resonance Fields as Community-Building; Strengths-Based Analysis of the Self; Exploring the Relationships Between Diverse Methods of Striving for Change; and Understanding the Relationship Between Harvard Forest and its status as unceded Nipmuc Land.

Special gratitude to the EDI staff, the Harvard Forest, the Office for Gender Equity, and the Phillips Brooks House Association @pbha for helping bring this opportunity to life.
