Hello! My name is Bonnie (she/her) and I am the Interim Director of the Harvard College Women's Center. I am responsible for the leadership of the Center, which includes strategic development, operational management, financial planning, program development, and alumni relations. I also serve as a resource for pregnant students and work collaboratively with Center-affiliated student groups on an array of programming that raises awareness of women’s issues and promotes gender equity.  Please reach out to me about anything related to gender, women, femmes, intersectional feminism, reproductive justice, friendship, restorative justice, and more! I would also appreciate hearing your big ideas and suggestions for shaping a meaningful and impactful future for the HCWC.

I have been at Harvard since 2009 and held a variety of academic, administrative, and service positions. I have taught in the Academic Success Program, an FGLI (first-generation, low-income) pre-matriculation program at Columbia; at Harvard, I have taught a First-Year Seminar on friendship, an Engaged Scholarship course on altruism, and a study abroad course on the literature and philosophy of political difference in Croatia and Bosnia. I have a Ph.D. in philosophy and a Professional Certificate in Restorative Justice and Leadership from the University of San Diego. In 2021-2022, I was co-lead on a Harvard Culture Lab Innovation Fund Grant to promote restorative justice practices across campus. I also serve on the Public Service Committee at Harvard, as a Peace Commissioner for the City of Cambridge, and as a volunteer for Communities for Restorative Justice.
